GBS is a cruel disease. I’m a physical therapist who specializes in inpatient rehab. I’ve worked with about a dozen patients who had this in my 24 years of practice. I’m glad you had a decent recovery. I’m so sorry this happened to you. The whole experience must have been terrifying.
